CHRIS
COOPER: "Dj'ing has been more than a hobby for me. It's been my
life-long pursuit and occupation"
A Professional Disc Jockey with over 20-years of experience playing
recorded music for audiences large and small; in schools, halls,
night-clubs and over the airwaves, I"m now focusing my entire energy
and effort on playing Mobile DJ parties. Originally from the Canadian
prairies, I moved east after accepting an offer from CHRO (now Star
96 FM) in Pembroke, Ontario in 1990. I've called the Ottawa Valley
my home ever since. My broadcasting career was first sparked at
a high school in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and was later launched
in Wainwright, Alberta in 1985 continuing in Moose Jaw, Saskatoon,
Kapuskasing, Ontario and most recently as an afternoon radio announcer
at STAR96 in Pembroke. My commercial voice-over work can still be
heard on radio, and on a freelance basis on TV for the NewRo. My
mobile disc jockey experience began in 1982 in Saskatchewan. I have
enjoyed playing parties at events throughout the Ottawa Valley since
1993 in association with Ottawa Valley DJ's and Miller Entertainment
Services. The new millennium brought with it many new, exciting
changes, including the formation of Chris Cooper DJ Services. I
look forward to continuing to serve you.

Chris
Richards A.K.A. DJ Rev:
“With a love for all styles of music and a pure enjoyment
of being able to entertain people, DJing became not just a job,
it became who I am.”
Chris started his career as a DJ in Alliston,
Ontario in 1995. At the age of 13, Chris was providing all of
the Audio/Visual entertainment for the high school assemblies.
From the start, Chris had people talking about his background
music. Then, in 1998, Chris signed on with Wayne Jones DJ Service
in Bradford, Ontario. In the five years he worked with Wayne
Jones, Chris became one of the most requested DJs in South Simcoe
and in York Region. But Chris felt that something was missing
in his shows. So, in 2000, Chris and a few other DJs at Wayne
Jones started a separate company under Wayne Jones DJ Service,
and dedicated it to strictly teen dances, proms, grads, and
their trademarked “Friday Night Dance Party.” They
made their goal to not just provide the music for the party,
but to fully interact with the crowd and to entertain them.
From that point on, Wikki Wikki Style Productions was created,
and DJ Rev was born. Chris has always believed that the job
of the DJ is to ensure that everyone enjoys an off-the-wall,
interactive party experience. It doesn’t matter the type
of the function, or the style of the music. Chris will make
it his goal to have everyone has fun. And if the dance floor’s
hoppin’ and the music ain’t stoppin’ keep
your eyes a poppin’, ‘cause DJ Rev might be in da
house!
